“I am thrilled to unveil the cover of my upcoming book, Finding the Way: A Novel of Lao Tzu.
It is a high-concept, eye-catching design that not only reflects the story, but intrigues the reader. I am very proud of all the work that went into the cover and especially delighted that my wife, Trish Lucy, developed the concept. She dogged the minutest details from the brushwork on the Yin and Yang symbol, to the blood splatter, to the background characters, to the parchment paper. Big thanks also go to our art consultant, Erica Russell, and Earnshaw Books, whose inclusion of Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching in the background was an touchdown in authenticity.”
